Camile L. Chiasson, O.D.

Dr. Chiasson founded Chiasson Eyecare Center in 1981. He graduated from Thibodaux High School, Loyola University, and Southern College of Optometry.

Dr. Chiasson is therapeutic certified and specializes in primary care optometry, contact lens, cataract and glaucoma evaluations.

Laura Leigh Buisson, O.D.

Dr. Buisson, from Thibodaux, has been an associate Optometrist for 8 years. She graduated from Louisiana State University and completed her optometry training at University of Alabama at Birmingham. She did her residency in Primary Care Optometry at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans.

Dr. Buisson is therapeutic certified and specializes in primary care optometry, contact lens, cataract and glaucoma evaluations.

Breanne McGhee, OD, MEd, FAAO

Dr. Breanne McGhee completed her collegiate degree at Xavier University of Louisiana continued onto Pacific University College of Optometry where she obtained her Doctor of Optometry and Masters in Education degrees in 2016. A year later, Dr. McGhee completed a Family Practice Optometry residency at Bond Wroten Eye Clinic in Louisiana affiliated with the Southern College of Optometry. She is a member of the National Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry where is also a Fellow, American Optometric Association, and Optometric Association of Louisiana. She also serves on various committees including the Evidence Based Optometry-Glaucoma section (AOA) and Anterior Segment Section (AAO). She has presented many clinical posters at different conferences and authored publications in professional journals on various topics. Her specialties include ocular disease, pediatrics, and glaucoma. She is currently a PhD in Educational Leadership candidate at Pacific University.

 
 
 

 

Dr Huynh, OD

Dr. Huynh, a Louisiana native from Morgan City, has been an associate optometrist since 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA and her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama School of Optometry in Birmingham, AL. 

Dr. Huynh specializes in primary care optometry, contact lenses, cataracts and glaucoma evaluations, and ocular surgery co-management. She is a TPA-certified optometrist and is licensed in the state of Louisiana. Dr. Huynh is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometry Association of Louisiana.

 

 

Dexter Hebert, OD

Dr. Hebert, born and raised in Chackbay, got his undergraduate degree from Nicholls State University and completed his optometry training at University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Hebert is therapeutic certified and specializes in primary care optometry, contact lenses, cataracts, dry eye, and glaucoma evaluations.

Donald P. Cerise, M.D. (Thibodaux Office)

Dr. Cerise is a graduate of Tulane Medical School. He completed his residency training at Tulane and a year of specialty training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and tear ducts at Albany Medical College in New York. He currently holds the position of Clinical Instructor in the Tulane Department of Ophthalmology.

Nick Frisard , M.D. (Raceland Office)

Dr. Frisard completed both his undergraduate and graduate work at LSU, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He graduated from LSU School of Medicine in 2013. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Oschsner Clinic Foundation and his Ophthalmology Residency at LSU.

Dr. Frisard was awarded multiple honors and appointments both during and following his undergraduate and graduate education including being selected as the 2016 Chief Resident of LSU Ophthalmology. He and his wife are very involved in the New Orleans community. Dr. Frisard’s primary focus is the medical treatment of eye disease and cataract and refractive surgery.

Satish Arora, M.D

Dr. Arora is the area's only full time, fellowship trained Retina specialist. Dr. Arora was born and raised on the Texas Gulf Coast and has resided in South Louisiana for 18 years. He is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and completed his Ophthalmology Residency at LSUHSC and Ochsner in New Orleans. He then remained at LSU for additional fellowship training in Retinal disease and surgery, helping to rebuild the training program after Hurricane Katrina. He has resided and practiced in the Houma-Thibodaux area for 11 years.
